MapePave Mortar is ideal for bedding 20mm porcelain, it is rapid curing (just 12 hours for foot traffic), has a thin application, has low shrinkage and is compliant with BS 7533.
Pre-blended, just mix with water. To be used in conjunction with MapePave Slurry.
Product Preparation:
Mix a 25 kg bag of MapePave Mortar with 1.55-1.8 litres of water for at least 5 minutes in a cement mixer, automatic pressure pump or truck mixer until a homogeneous mix is obtained. The product can be mixed with a robust paddle mixer with care if required. The mix must be poured, compacted and floated within 40-60 minutes after mixing.

Application Data (at +23°c - 50% R.h.)
Mix Ratio: 1.55 - 1.8 Litres of Water.
Density of the Mix (Kg/m³): 2,100 Depending on Compaction.
Mixing Time: 5 to 10 Mins.
Workability of the Mix: 60 Mins.
Application Temperature Range: From +5°c to +35°c.
Set to Light Foot Traffic: After 12 Hours.
Resistance to Moisture: Excellent.
Resistance to Ageing: Excellent.
Resistance to Solvents and Oils: Excellent.
Resistance to Acids and Alkalis: Poor.
Resistance to Temperature: From -30°c to +90°c.
Flexibility: No.
Storage & Shelf Life: Mapepave Mortar May Be Stored for Up to 12 Months in Its Original Packaging in a Dry Place.
